Before Widuri became a brand, it was a quiet dream I carried while building other people’s brands. I spent years as a self-taught marketing strategist, helping local clothing labels grow and understanding what truly makes women connect. Deep down, I always wondered if one day I would have the courage to build something of my own.

When I became a mother, everything shifted. I was exhausted, balancing freelance work while caring for my first child, and quietly afraid that I no longer had the time or capacity to chase the dream I once held so confidently. I questioned whether this season of life was meant for ambition at all.

It took a village. My husband, and the people who believed in me more than I believed in myself, reminded me that motherhood does not erase ambition. The woman I was before becoming a mother still exists, only stronger and more certain.

Widuri is my comeback, but stronger. It is proof that dreams can pause without disappearing. It is a space built for everyday women, especially here at home in Malaysia, to feel seen, capable and less alone in this journey.

Because we are allowed to nurture our families and our dreams at the same time.
